Philanthropic and Social Impact Strategy and Programming:

We design giving strategies aligned with your values, priorities, and desired outcomes. We help define focus areas, structure portfolios, and guide execution.

We work across sectors and geographies, bringing deep expertise in international development; accountability and anti-corruption; women and girls; big-bet philanthropy; and large-scale systems change.

Team Leadership and Program Support:

We offer fractional team leadership and program support for managing client-specific projects and initiatives. We bring our years of leadership experience to act as trusted advisors and managers, directly engaging with clients and leading and mentoring teams. We develop philanthropic portfolios, oversee grantmaking and investments, engage your board, and manage grantee relationships.

Spend-Downs, Wind-Downs, and Exits:

We offer expert guidance for foundations, philanthropic entities, and organizations navigating time-bound giving, organizational transitions, or closure. We ensure that your resources are used thoughtfully and impact is maximized, while centering the people and communities you serve as you ethically and transparently wind down.

Erin Sines is the Founder and Principal of Enduring Good Advisors, LLC, a donor advisory firm that helps individuals, families, and foundations turn philanthropic intent into clear strategy and meaningful, lasting impact. Over the course of her career, she has directed more than $350 million in philanthropic investments and influenced the deployment of substantially more through strategy, advisory work, and field leadership. She also works with select nonprofit and social impact organizations on strategy, program design, adaptation, and organizational transitions.

Before founding Enduring Good Advisors, Erin served as a Program Director at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, where she developed and co-led a 10-year place-based accountability initiative. In that role, Erin guided strategic investments to reduce corruption and strengthen accountability by supporting independent media, criminal justice reform, behavior change, advocacy, and civic accountability efforts.

Erin also has extensive experience working on issues related to women and girls, from sexual and reproductive health and rights to gender equity and social inclusion and empowerment. She led MacArthur’s Population and Reproductive Health program, after first joining the Foundation as a Program Officer overseeing its global portfolio.

She also brings expertise in responsible transitions and endings, having wound down major philanthropic programs and nonprofit organizations and advised a range of donors on the topic. Across these efforts, she has worked with grantees, staff, and boards to plan thoughtful transitions, preserve important work, and conclude responsibly and transparently.

Earlier in her career, Erin worked with policymakers around the world to translate data into actionable policy solutions and partnered with journalists to shape data-driven stories that connected with communities.

Erin has served on multiple donor and non-profit boards, including Trust, Accountability, and Inclusion donor collaborative, Global Integrity, and Fòs Feminista, among others. She holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Politics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She is also a Certified Daylight Impact Philanthropy and 21/64 Philanthropic Advisor.

In her spare time, you can find her reading a couple good books at the same time, hiking, or cooking for family and friends.
